The mission of the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department is to act together with the community to safeguard peoples’ lives and property, enforce laws, preserve peace, reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and provide a safe and peaceful environment in which to live, raise families, and retire. We use best police practices and standards for professionalism that support human rights and civil liberties. The Department strives to increase the quality of life for our diverse community by enhancing public safety through effective collaboration with our citizenry and other stakeholders.
