Pet Vaccine Clinic

The City of Bellefontaine ordinances require dogs and cats have current rabies tags. The City provides an opportunity to get vaccinations and tags at reduced costs at the Annual Pet Vaccine Clinic. The attending veterinarian is Dr. Dan Wendt, DVM, who owns and operates the Ferguson Animal Clinic at 843 Airport Rd. St. Louis, MO. You can get a discount by showing a spay or neuter certificate.

City ordinances also require that dogs and cats are registered at the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors. The cost of the pet tag is $10.00 per pet and may be purchased at the clinic at time of shots. Or may be issued during regular business hours in our Building Department. Must show written proof on inoculations and insurance policy (for Pit Bull Breeds). A picture of dog is required if a Pit Bull Breed; One (1) with a muzzle and One (1) without.
Street Sweeping (2025)
Your Public Works Department will begin street sweeping throughout Bellefontaine Neighbors. Please do not rake leaves into the street! The tentative schedule (weather permitting) is as follows:
Ward 2 3/10/25 – 3/17/25
Ward 3 3/24/25 – 4/7/25
Ward 4 4/21/25 – 5/5/25
