Swimming Pools

THE OUTDOOR POOL IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN MONDAY, MAY 30, 2022. FOR MEMBERSHIPS OR HOURS PLEASE CALL THE RECREATION CENTER AT
314-867-0700.

Two pools are operated at the Bellefontaine Community Center. One is indoor and is open year round except for maintenance. The other is outdoors and is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is limited to residents with current Parks Department ID cards, their guests and holders of annual swimming nonresident IDs, SUMMER NONRESIDENT SWIM PASSES, SilverSneaker and Renew Active partners.

. Each resident may bring 2 guests. The resident must stay with the guest at all times.

Fees:

  • Adults aged 13 and over
    • Residents- $5.00 Nonresident guest- $9.00
  • Children aged 6 to 12
    • Residents - $4.00 Nonresident guest - $8.00
  • Children aged 3 to 5 from Memorial Day to Labor Day
    • $2.00

Indoor Pool - Memorial Day to Labor Day

Lap Swim

 

Monday through Sunday

12:00 -1:00 p.m.

Open Swim - all ages

 

Friday, Saturday and Sunday if the outdoor pool is not open

3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Adult Time - 18 years and up

 

Monday through Sunday

1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Outdoor Pool - open Memorial Day through Labor Day

Open Swim - Must be 70 degrees by noon to open

 
Daily  12:00  - 6:00 p.m.

 

 

The outdoor pool will close early for swim team meets and other special events.

  1. All residents ages 6 and older must have a valid recreation ID.
  2. Children 9 and under must be with an adult 16 or older.
  3. All guests must pay the appropriate fee and stay with the resident.
  4. Properly lined swim attire is required. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.
  5. A commercial swim diaper is required for any infant not completely potty trained or anyone with a continence problem.
  6. All patrons on the pool deck must pay the admission fee.
  7. The outdoor door will open when the air temperature reaches 70 degrees before 12:00 p.m. It will remain closed for that day even if the temperature rises later.
  8. The outdoor pool must close if lightning is spotted and remain closed 30 minutes after the last strike. As no refunds or rain checks are given, please consider the weather before coming to the pool.
